Francois kanimba outgoing Minister handed over office to Vincent Munyeshyaka
this Monday handed over office to Vincent Munyeshyaka incoming Minister for the Trade and Industry.
This handover is in accordance with Cabinet appointments of Senior Government Officials. The outgoing Permanent Secretary Rosemary Mbabazi handed over also the office to the incoming Permanent Secretary Michel Sebera.
The former Permanent Secretary Rosemary Mbabazi was appointed the Minister Youth, while the incoming Minister has been serving as Minister of State for Ministry of Local Government.
Speaking at the event, Outgoing Minister Francois Kanimba expressed his sincere appreciation to His Excellency the President of the Republic of Rwanda for the trust in him. He also thanked the entire staff of MINICOM for the support and team spirit while in his tenure, that helped him deliver on the Ministry mandate.
Mr. Kanimba noted that MINICOM is a backbone of Rwanda’s economy and he highlighted key ongoing projects for the Ministry that need attention and close follow up. The incoming Minister Vincent Munyeshyaka also expressed his gratitude to serve his country through the Ministry of Trade and Industry. “I can’t deliver without full support of MINICOM dedicated staff” He said. Staff of MINICOM welcomed the incoming Minister and incoming permanent Secretary , and pledged full support.
